EFT Source Triples Weekly Card Production with Card@Once®
As financial institutions improve customer loyalty and service, adoption of instant issuance holds steady
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--EFT Source, Inc. announced today that with its patented, EMV-capable instant issuance solution, Card@Once, it has tripled weekly card production over the past year. The company is a provider of turnkey card programs and personalization services for ATM and debit cards for financial institutions.
“Today’s consumers are increasingly looking for financial institutions that offer services that align with their lifestyle, including great service, more options and added convenience”
While a great deal of attention has been on digital banking channels, Gallup found in its most recent U.S. Retail Banking survey that 80 percent of respondents chose to open new accounts at the branch while only eight percent preferred to open their account online. Financial institutions are taking note and adopting technologies like instant issuance to meet their customers’ preferences and expectations. In fact, within the last year, EFT Source increased its Card@Once customer base by more than 200 percent, indicating strong industry adoption of instant issuance.
“Today’s consumers are increasingly looking for financial institutions that offer services that align with their lifestyle, including great service, more options and added convenience,” said Bill Dinker, president of EFT Source. “Financial institutions are realizing that and leveraging instant issuance to provide outstanding service. We expect this trend to continue for the foreseeable future.”
EFT Source’s Card@Once positions financial institutions to gain a competitive advantage in their local markets by enabling them to provide higher levels of customer service through the instance issuance of debit, pre-paid or reloadable cards on-site within seconds. When a customer requests a card, the data is securely transferred from the branch location to EFT Source. The data is immediately processed and converted into a print file that is sent back to the branch electronically. Card@Once encodes the data and prints the card allowing the customer to walk away with a ready-to-use, active card.
