2nd & Charles To Open New Store in Charlotte
Shoppers Anticipate Opening of Third Location in North Carolina
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The residents of Charlotte will soon have a 2nd & Charles store. The third location in North Carolina will open on July 31 at 5331 South Blvd. in the Tyvola Mall Center. Currently, 2nd & Charles operates its other North Carolina stores in Fayetteville and Jacksonville.
“North Carolina will have more 2nd & Charles locations than any other state”
Focused on giving customers an amazing shopping experience, individuals will find variety of used items for sale, from video games and music to bestsellers and classics.
“North Carolina will have more 2nd & Charles locations than any other state,” said Eric Bishop, Vice President of 2nd & Charles. “Our loyal customers share 2nd & Charles’ passion for reading, writing, listening, playing and watching. Together we take the idea of recycling to a whole new level.”
2nd & Charles offers cash or store credit for gently used items that they buy and sell based on the product’s condition, current inventory and popularity. The store specializes in buying and selling used books, audio books, CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray, video games, game systems, vinyl records, comic books, iPods and iPads, eReaders, and more.
“Instead of finding new ways to use books, video games, movies, music and more, we came up with the great idea of just helping people reuse them. That way, more people can find something they’ll enjoy, for less,” said Josh Gordon, General Manager of 2nd & Charles. “Since our inventory changes every day with over 300,000 items in stock, Charlotte shoppers will always find something different.”
Customers wishing to sell their own used items can check them in upon entering the store. While their merchandise is processed, customers can shop the large selection of new and gently used items. Once their order is complete, customers can choose to redeem their items for cash or store credit.
Beyond the everyday low prices on its merchandise, 2nd & Charles also has sale bins with items priced at $1, $2 or $3. Customers will even find baskets where books are entirely free.
As shoppers enter the new Charlotte store, they will see the famous 2nd & Charles iconic Book Wall, hand-crafted from more than 4,000 hardcover books.
