Lincoln Financial Advisors’ Elizabeth Liechty Receives National Underwriter Life & Health Industry Elite Award
Liechty Recognized For Giving Back to the Community at Large
ANNAPOLIS, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Elizabeth Liechty, senior partner and founder of Charter Financial Group, Inc., in Millersville, Md. and registered representative of Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp., was the recipient of the 2014 National Underwriters Life & Health (NUL) Industry Elite Award for Community Outreach. The award recognizes the best effort by an industry professional or organization to give back to the community at large.

Liechty provides advisory services to a clientele comprised of Fortune 500 executives, those receiving pro bono services, as well as hospice patients and their families. Liechty serves as volunteer, member, and chair of the Foundation Board of Directors for Hospice of the Chesapeake, a nonprofit organization located in Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties which provides physical, psycho-social, and spiritual support services to individuals and families affected by advanced illness. Additionally, she is chair of the audit committee for the Middle East Investment Initiative, a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C. that delivers assistance programs that are designed to stimulate economic activity and job creation in the Middle East and North Africa.
Liechty participates in several organizations within Lincoln Financial Advisors that benefit both her peers and clients including Lincoln Financial Advisor’s Resource Group, Lincoln’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Lincoln’s WISE Group (Women Inspiring, Supporting, Educating), which aims to provide support for female advisors within the firm and female clients in their pursuit of knowledge and services within the financial planning industry. Liechty also volunteers her time to coach other financial planners around LGBT issues.
