National Business Group on Health Honors Cigna With Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles® Award

BLOOMFIELD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The National Business Group on Health, a non-profit association of large U.S. employers, honored Cigna today for its ongoing commitment and dedication to promoting a healthy work environment and encouraging workers and families to maintain healthy lifestyles. Cigna was among 63 U.S. employers that received the 2013 Best Employers for Healthy Lifestyles® award at the Leadership Summit sponsored by the National Business Group on Health’s Institute on Innovation in Workforce Well-being. For the seventh year in a row, Cigna won the platinum award, the recognition given to companies with established “healthy weight, healthy lifestyles” programs that demonstrate measurable success and documented outcomes.
