SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--InMoment, a leader in cloud-based customer experience technologies, today announced it has been recognized locally, nationally and globally for its achievements. InMoment co-founder and CPO Kurt Williams was named one of the state’s top executives by Utah Business magazine, and its OpenTell social reviews product was named a finalist for a Stevie Award. Additionally, the company’s UK-based client, Mitchells & Butlers, has also been selected as a finalist in the 2014 UK Customer Experience Awards for their feedback program, which is powered by InMoment.
“Kurt and I built this company together, and his vision has pushed our technology and products beyond what we ever imagined”
These recognitions demonstrate the company’s established position as a leader in customer experience optimization, and come on the heels of uniting under the InMoment brand after Mindshare Technologies’ acquisition of Empathica last year.
In its inaugural year, the top executive award from Utah Business honors leaders in the local community who are key to their organizations’ success and to the local economy. Williams and the other recipients are featured in an article from the magazine’s June issue, and recognized at an event on June 27 in Salt Lake City.
“Kurt and I built this company together, and his vision has pushed our technology and products beyond what we ever imagined,” said the company’s CEO John Sperry. “Under his creative direction, we have been able to develop nationally recognized products that distinguish us from our competitors.”
Williams received this award because of his creative approach to solving problems. “At InMoment, I’ve had the opportunity of bringing my interests and talents to a cause I really believe in,” said Williams. I’ve always been deeply interested in the experiences people have with the products I create. InMoment allows me to build products that help other companies improve the experiences customers have with their products. It’s a privilege to come to work every day and do something that really matters, because in the end, we are all customers.”
InMoment’s OpenTell social reviews product was also named as a finalist for a Stevie Award in the 12th Annual American Business Awards. The Stevie Award, one of the world’s most coveted prizes, recognizes businesses leaders with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards. The final awards will be announced at a September 12 event in San Francisco.
On the international front, InMoment’s client Mitchells & Butlers, the largest operator of restaurants, pubs and bars in the UK, has been named a finalist in the 2014 UK Customer Experience Awards. M&B’s Harvester brand made the cut thanks to a comprehensive customer experience program, powered by InMoment, which is helping to significantly improve guest satisfaction. The UK Customer Experience Awards celebrate excellence in customer experience and support organizations and businesses that wish to promote an exceptional customer experience.
