Neighborhood Housing Services of Silicon Valley (NHSSV) Welcomes New Board Members
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neighborhood Housing Services of Silicon Valley (NHSSV) is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: John Higgins, Gregory Korbel, and Susan Price-Jang.

As the Area Lending Manager for Citibank, Higgins is responsible for the mortgage partnerships in 18 bank branches in Silicon Valley (San Jose, Calif.) and Washington State (Seattle/Bellevue markets). Previously a branch sales manager with Guild Mortgage, Higgins has spent nearly three decades in lending and leadership, helping customers and employees improve their lives in his professional capacity. He is a graduate of the University of Montana.
Korbel is a partner at Miller Morton Caillat & Nevis LLP in San Jose, Calif., a highly respected legal firm specializing in real estate. Korbel has represented investors, property owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals in all aspects of real estate, development, and construction. An accomplished negotiator, Korbel has negotiated complex development and construction agreements on behalf of owners, developers, and contractors. He is a graduate of Arizona State University and Hastings College of Law.
Price-Jang is a community and family advocate with hands-on, real-world experience in outreach services. In her previous employment with Catholic Charities, she brought in NHSSV to speak with clients about home-buying opportunities and tenant rights and responsibilities. As a family advocate at her local elementary school, she learned first-hand about the challenges of low-income renters in Silicon Valley. She holds a master’s in Education from San Jose State University.

Greg, John, and Susan join the NHSSV board immediately and will serve a term of two years.
