Thousands Book it to AAA Southern New England’s 11th Annual Travel Marketplace
New England’s Largest Vacation Planning Event Cruises into Gillette Stadium March 7 - 9
PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--For the 11th consecutive year, AAA Southern New England invites the public to attend AAA Travel Marketplace, the three-day one-stop shop event for everything travel-related. Thousands have booked cruises and vacation packages to both local and faraway destinations at the annual event. Visitors from all over New England can take advantage of daily show deals and exclusive AAA member discounts at this year’s Travel Marketplace, March 7-9, at the Putnam Club East at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
“We think it’s entirely fitting to kick off Travel Marketplace’s second decade with the largest event yet”
More than 100 vendors will be in attendance, including cruise lines, tour companies, tourist boards, theme parks, hotels and resorts and AAA member services. The 2014 event is set to feature the largest number of travel partners and exhibitors in the event’s history, and the show will have more space than ever thanks to a recently completed expansion of the stadium’s Putnam Club East.
“We think it’s entirely fitting to kick off Travel Marketplace’s second decade with the largest event yet,” said Charlotte Nichols, Director of Business Development for AAA Travel. “Last year’s event drew more than 17,000 people and we are confident this year’s show, with more vendors than ever before, will eclipse last year’s event. After a hard winter, it’s the perfect time to plan the ultimate getaway and we’re excited to help New Englanders book a trip they can look forward to and create long lasting memories.”
AAA Travel counselors and partners will provide expert insights for booking trips to locations here at home and around the world – everywhere from Europe, Asia and Africa to South America, the Caribbean and even Antarctica. There are presentations planned for visitors to learn more about favorite destinations and travel options ranging from New England vacations to luxury escapes. In addition to prizes, giveaways and show-only deals, visitors also have the chance to win a 12-day National Parks of America Tour from AAA Member Choice Vacations.
