“ChemPoint has been a trusted and valuable partner with the POLYOX™ product line for many years. We’re excited to expand our relationship with ChemPoint, allowing us to more effectively service our geographically diverse customers, markets and opportunities in Eastern Europe with our ANTISOL™ product line for water drilling,” said Philippe Maigrot, Commercial Leader EMEA for Dow Industrial Specialties, Pharmaceuticals and Food Solutions.
ANTISOL™ Polyanionic Cellulose (PAC) Polymers are high purity (>98 percent) carboxymethylcellulose additives that serve as the industry standard for flow modification and filtration properties in water based drilling fluids. The use of ANTISOL™ helps drilling fluid properties adapt more easily to the highly differing formation demands encountered during drilling. ANTISOL™ offers effective dispersion and protection of clay particles, retention of the water in drilling fluid, and shale inhibition.
“The addition of Eastern Europe to our distribution network for ANTISOL™ reaffirms our expertise and success in this market,” said Dennis Schmeits, ChemPoint’s EMEA Regional Business Director. “We are thrilled that Dow has selected ChemPoint to represent and distribute their ANTISOL™ product portfolio to customers in Western Europe, and now Eastern Europe as well.”
