Edgewater Networks Executive Named To SIP Forum Board of Directors
SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Edgewater Networks announced today that Gernot Scheichl, Edgewater’s Vice President of Support and Services, has been appointed to the SIP Forum’s Board of Directors. The SIP Forum's mission is to advance the adoption of products and services based on the Session Initiation Protocol and to maintain and serve a global community of commercial SIP based service and technology providers. The primary goals of the SIP Forum are to foster interoperability and adherence to standardization efforts, and provide educational resources and a platform for productive communication among industry participants.

Mr. Scheichl has over 20 years experience in the networking industry in a variety of business development, sales and customer support roles. He is currently responsible for Edgewater’s customer support and professional services.
