The TJX Companies, Inc. Reports February Sales

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The TJX Companies, Inc. today reported February 2003 sales results. Sales for the four-week period ended March 1, 2003 were $776 million, up 3% over $752 million achieved during the four-week period ended March 2, 2002. Consolidated comparable store sales for the four-week period ended March 1, 2003 decreased 5% against last year's strong 7% increase.
