Cummins Allison Canada Introduces JetScan iFX Multi-Pocket Sorter Ticketing Solution
MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cummins Allison, the leading innovator and provider of currency, cheque and coin handling solutions, today announced new JetScan iFX® i400 ticket-processing solutions for Canadian gaming properties.
The uniquely configurable and compact JetScan iFX i400 multi-pocket sorter is now available with casino ticket bar code recognition. Casinos can realize substantial time savings by using this single, innovative device that can now process and sort mixed tickets and notes, including polymer, on a desktop multi-pocket sorter at a rate of 1,000 documents per minute. The new JetScan iFX i406 model processes Canadian dollar, Euro and U.S. dollar, allowing Canadian, US and international casinos to process multiple currencies on the same sorting machine.
The only multi-pocket sorter that can process mixed tickets and currency, the JetScan iFX i400 improves count room productivity and efficiency. It is the smallest, fastest and most flexible multi-pocket sorter and can have as few as 3 to as many as 9 pockets and can be built in a horizontal or vertical configuration – all in the same 76.2 cm x 45.7 cm footprint. The i400 revolutionizes cash and casino ticket counting in ways other machines can't, by processing currency at up to 1,000 notes per minute, including Canadian polymer bank notes.
"Whether in the cage area, soft count room or elsewhere, investing in the latest currency and ticket handling technology can minimize document handling processes, improve employee efficiency and allow casinos to leverage the cost and time savings allowing for front-house upgrades to draw more patrons in and keep them coming back," states Harry Patrinos, managing director Cummins Allison Canada.
