“The Global Supplier Day event is the most important supplier strategy meeting we hold each year,” said Jim Federico, vice president and general manager, global ATE Operations, Teradyne. “At the end of the day, key suppliers have a view of our business goals, our strategy to accomplish them and an understanding of how our plan will help our customers win. The Global Supplier Day event is one more way Teradyne demonstrates a commitment to customers.”
About Teradyne’s Global Supplier Day Event
The first Supplier Day event was held in 2003 in Boston. In 2005, with the cooperation of Teradyne’s contract manufacturer Solectron, an event was held in China for Asian suppliers. Today, the Global Supplier Day event has grown to be a single global event for senior executives of Teradyne’s most strategically critical suppliers. The Global Supplier Day event aligns suppliers to Teradyne’s business objectives and strategy so that Teradyne’s customers have both technical advantage, and a competitive advantage through a responsive supply chain.
