Teradyne Named to VLSI Research ''10 BEST'' List for 19th Straight Year

NORTH READING, Mass.--()--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER), a world leader in high efficiency, low-cost test, was named a 10 BEST supplier in the annual VLSI Research Customer Satisfaction survey for the 19th consecutive year. Semiconductor equipment users from around the world recognized Teradyne as a top ranked Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) company in the 10 BEST Test Equipment category and the overall 10 BEST Large Suppliers of Chip Making Equipment category. Teradyne received high marks from users in Quality of Results, Product Performance, Technical Leadership and Build Quality, with the largest increase from last years ratings coming in the Support after Sales criteria.

VLSI Research, Inc of Santa Clara, California, surveys equipment users to determine how they value their equipment and their relationships with suppliers. For the 2007 survey, statistics were drawn from 365 companies returning 4594 ratings from equipment users in China, Europe, Japan, Korea, North America, Taiwan and other areas of the world. The annual Customer Satisfaction Survey on Chip Making Equipment is the only publicly available opportunity for chip manufacturers to provide feedback on their suppliers. The '10 BEST' rankings award special recognition to the suppliers that are rated highest by end-users.
