The LDU 100 is Teradyne's core DSP measurement head for the Celerity(R) and 4TEL(TM) test systems and provides a common platform to support voice and DSL. The LDU 100 has been successfully deployed across Teradyne's installed base of some 140 million lines in support of voice and DSL copper loop testing. Spirent's CopperMax test unit is their flagship test head that supports all of today's popular DSL variants for physical and logical layer connectivity. CopperMax, working hand-in-hand with Spirent's REACT(R) OSS, is used by many of the worlds leading telephone companies for end-to-end DSL circuit testing.
“The goal of these joint activities is to enable our customers to leverage their extensive installed base of test heads by cost effectively migrating to end-to-end broadband service assurance solutions from Teradyne and Spirent.”
