Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER), Connection Systems Division (TCS), the industry leader in high-performance connection systems, today announced that its Winston-Salem, North Carolina connector molding & stamping operation (TCMS) recently received certification to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard.
The National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), an independent certifying agency, conducted an audit of Teradyne Connection Systems' environmental management systems at its Winston-Salem plant and issued the ISO 14001 certification on July 5, 2004. The Division's other facilities in New Hampshire, Ireland and Mexico are also certified to the ISO 14001 standard.

"Teradyne fosters an excellent culture for sustaining regulatory and environmental compliance with an emphasis on employee awareness."
TCMS provides precision metal stamping and conventional and reel-to-reel insert molding of components for Teradyne's high-speed connector products, such as the industry-leading VHDM platform. The facility is part of Teradyne's vertically integrated manufacturing strategy to provide high-quality connectors in high volumes to OEM (original equipment manufacturing) and CM (contract manufacturing) customers in the telecommunications, networking, storage and computer markets.
