Teradyne Announces Peter Hashem Memorial Scholarship

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept 9, 2002--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announced the establishment of the Peter Hashem Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship was named in honor of Peter Hashem, a Teradyne employee who was a victim of the terrorist attacks last September.

The Peter Hashem Memorial Scholarship will be available annually to children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Teradyne employees, beginning with the 2003-2004 academic year.
