BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2000--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) reported sales of $848.0 million and net income of $153.5 million ($0.84 per share) for the Third Quarter of 2000. Orders for the Third Quarter of 2000 totaled $818.7 million.
