Legerity, Inc. Chooses Catalyst Family Test Systems from Teradyne

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 3, 2000--SPECIAL TO THE INTERNATIONAL TEST CONFERENCE -- Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE:TER) announced today at ITC that Legerity, Inc., (formerly AMD's Communication Products Division), has chosen Catalyst System-on-a-chip (SOC) test systems for developing and testing various communication devices including traditional voice SLICs, 150V Ringing SLICs for VoIP, and DSL line driver devices.

Deliveries have been taken on initial engineering and production systems with further shipments slated throughout next year.
