BridgePoint Purchases Catalyst SOC Test System from Teradyne

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 28, 2000--Teradyne, Inc. (NYSE: TER) announced today that BridgePoint Technical Manufacturing, a subcontract production and engineering test services company, purchased the Catalyst test system from Teradyne. The system-on-a-chip (SOC) test system was shipped to BridgePoint's Austin, Texas facility early this month and will be used to test its customers' high-end mixed-signal devices.
