At HiMSS 2010, MEDecision will continue to build on the increased presence it introduced at last year’s event. The company’s main activities will include:
- Hosting the event’s largest social gathering, a complimentary party for HiMSS attendees to network with MEDecision management and other colleagues. Open to all conference participants, the event will be held at the Georgia Aquarium on Monday, March 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Announcing an innovative new product that enables the open exchange of clinical information — including diagnostic-quality imaging — among care delivery organizations and patients, regardless of their native technical platform.
- Conducting health information exchange demonstrations in the Interoperability Showcase, booth #233, Hall C, from March 1–3. MEDecision will showcase its technology for enabling the exchange of patient health information across healthcare systems and/or enterprises. Also, MEDecision Senior Vice President of Provider Markets Elliot Menschik, M.D., Ph.D., will conduct a presentation called “Real-World Applications of IHE XDS: Scalable and Sustainable HIEs, EHRs and PHRs,” during the Interoperability Showcase on Tuesday, March 2 at 12:15 p.m.
In line with MEDecision’s mission of improving collaboration among patients, payers and providers, the company is sponsoring the Payer Symposium on Sunday, February 28. The day’s agenda will focus on the importance of increasing collaboration among all healthcare constituents. MEDecision is the sole sponsor of the Payer Roundtable breakfast on Tuesday, March 2 at 7:00 a.m.
Also, MEDecision will capitalize on the spotlight of HiMSS to make several significant news announcements. Its presence at the show will be anchored by its interactive booth space #5208.
