CRE Income Fund Announces Chief Accounting Officer

DALLAS--()--CRE Diversified Income Fund, a closed end Fund that focuses on “middle market” commercial real estate investments announced that Mr. Grant Baker will serve as the Fund’s Chief Accounting Officer.

The CRE Diversified Income Fund seeks to achieve above market tax advantaged returns by employing a bottom-up fundamental-based approach within the context of the entire commercial real estate value chain announced today that Mr. Grant Baker will serve as the Fund’s Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Baker brings extensive financial and operational leadership experience to the Fund. Mr. Baker graduated magna cum laude from Ohio State University with a masters in accounting. Mr. Baker began his career at KPMG and quickly moved up to work on the audit of a fortune 100 company. While at KPMG, Mr. Baker supervised 1-2 audit associates at any given time, performed audits of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and PCAOB standards and performed walkthroughs and conducted internal control test work to ensure compliance with COSO framework.

Mr. Baker has completed all phases of audit engagements including planning, budgeting, and fieldwork while working directly with managers to determine audit approach, scope and testing to be performed. Mr. Baker has worked in leadership roles at both public and private companies within their accounting and finance divisions. Mr. Baker recently work at a publicly traded company with more than $50 Million in annual revenue where he performed monthly reviews with facility and division leadership over operation metrics. Mr. Baker holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
