Dano's Tequila Expands Footprint with New Hartley & Parker Distribution Partnership in Connecticut

The award-winning Tequila brand reaches several new milestones with a high-profile distribution partnership, a new bartender advocacy and education program, and the Brand of Promise distinction from Tequila Aficionado

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo.--()--Dano’s Tequila, makers of ultra-premium, 100% agave tequilas hand crafted in a family-owned distillery that dates back to 1840, is proud to announce that beginning July 1, it will enter a new partnership with Hartley & Parker for distribution in the state of Connecticut.

Founded in 1941, Hartley & Parker has firmly established itself as one of Connecticut's premier wholesalers of fine wines and spirits. By establishing and maintaining long-lasting relationships with their consumers and suppliers, the distributor has continually grown to carry over 6,000 brands of wines and spirits.

"Hartley & Parker represents a long legacy built upon strong relationships between distributors, suppliers and consumers," said Chris Timmerman, CEO and Co-Founder of Dano's Tequila. "This dynamic partnership represents a major milestone and leap forward for our brand. By rounding out Hartley & Parker's high-profile portfolio as their only 100% agave tequila in the ultra-premium segment, Dano's Tequila products will see expanded visibility and distribution in Connecticut, allowing us to bring our award-winning tequilas to a wider audience of responsible consumers in the state."

Additionally, Dano's Tequila is proud to announce the launch of the "Dano's Delegates" bartender advocacy program. Participating bartenders in the program craft signature cocktails using Dano's Tequila products and receive a stipend for their efforts. On top of that, bartenders involved in the program will also receive training on the tequila category, background and tasting opportunities involving Dano's Tequila, cocktail development guidance from The Beverage Testing Institute as well as personal branding from Clout.

"Bartenders are in many ways the foundation of Dano's Tequila – by serving our tequilas straight or as part of delicious cocktail, they help us share our story and introduce our liquid to both tequila newcomers and aficionados," said Conley Fitzpatrick, Dano's Tequila CMO. "With the massive impact COVID-19 has had on the restaurant, bar and gig industries, the Dano's Delegates program is the least we can do to not only support bartenders as we navigate these uncertain times, but also to elevate and provide ongoing advocacy for these individuals that have been so instrumental to our story and brand."

Finally, Dano’s also announces it has been honored as a Brand of Promise by Tequila Aficionado, one of the foremost media companies covering all things tequila, mezcal and agave. This award goes to brands with outstanding flavor and distinction, reinforcing to consumers just why Dano's Tequila has been able to successfully stand out in the ever-crowded tequila category.

About Dano’s Tequila

Founded in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2018, Dano’s Tequila offers a line of ultra-premium, 100% agave tequilas, each of which are hand crafted (yes, actually by hand) in a family-owned distillery dating back to 1840 in Tequila, Jalisco, Mexico. As a result, each tequila is exceptionally smooth. Dano’s award-winning tequilas include its signature Pineapple Jalapeño Infusion– as well as a Blanco, Reposado and Añejo. The Dano’s difference is in its detailed process, rooted in a tradition and practice overseen by a fourth generation of family craft distillers. Dano’s Añejo tequila won Best in Class and Double Gold in the 2020 San Francisco World Spirits competition and its Reposado tequila won Gold. Dano’s also won the Gold Medal in the 2019 Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) Tasting Competition, and the Double Gold and Gold in the 2018 SIP Awards.
