Turbonomic Named an Inaugural Launch Technology Partner for New Amazon Web Services Microsoft Workloads Competency

Turbonomic Application Resource Management Supports Assessment, Migration, and Operational Optimization of Microsoft Workloads in AWS Environments

BOSTON--()--Turbonomic, the leader in Application Resource Management (ARM), today announced that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Microsoft Workloads Competency status as an inaugural global launch AWS Partner Network (APN) Partner. The designation recognizes that Turbonomic provides proven technology and deep expertise in helping AWS customers achieve Microsoft Workloads assessment, migration, and post-migration operational optimization. Customers, including Gonzaga University, College of the Sequoias, Station Casinos, and others, trust Turbonomic to manage their AWS estates (read more detail in this blog: https://blog.turbonomic.com/manage-aws-estates).

Achieving the AWS Microsoft Workloads Competency in the migration and operational optimization categories differentiates Turbonomic as an APN Partner that provides specialized, demonstrated technical proficiency in application resource management and proven customer success through all phases of the AWS Cloud journey.

AWS is a major driver of digital transformation initiatives because it allows organizations to deliver on a key business need – the desire for increased agility and elasticity. The ability to distribute workloads across a ubiquitous and full-featured cloud platform, and only pay for the infrastructure that an organization needs at any given time, is attractive to enterprises large and small.

As organizations migrate Microsoft Workloads to AWS, they face challenges in pre-migration assessment, migration, and post-migration workload optimization. Turbonomic software understands all application requirements and identifies bottlenecks, managing all application demands in real-time and optimizing each and every workload. This removes the need for the IT staff to spend valuable hours on basic maintenance, freeing them up to focus instead on more strategic business-valued projects.

“Turbonomic enables us to drive better efficiency on-premises, but more importantly our hybrid environment is continuously healthy – and happy,” said Chris Becker, Infrastructure Engineer, Gonzaga University. “We no longer get alerts from VMware. Leveraging the automation Turbonomic delivers allows us to shift our focus to our AWS deployment, where Turbonomic is helping to assess what we still have on-premises and manage our existing footprint. This ensures that our instances will be accurately sized to assure performance and prevent overspend.”

Turbonomic is the only partner to have been awarded status for three competencies, including AWS Microsoft Workloads, Cloud Management Tools and AWS Migration Competency.

“Achieving this latest competency is another milestone as we continue advancing Turbonomic’s strategic relationship with AWS,” said Jennifer Heard, SVP of Cloud Alliances at Turbonomic.

“Organizations are under incredible pressure to meet digital transformation goals, which AWS helps them achieve by providing an elastic, easily scalable infrastructure. We are proud to be one of AWS’s trusted APN Partners in helping customers address the challenges associated with application resource management,” said Mor Cohen-Tal, Cloud CTO at Turbonomic.
