KALAMAZOO, Mich.--()--Streamline Healthcare Solutions announced that it will provide a behavioral health focused Electronic Health Record to the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) to satisfy their clinical, billing, administrative and reporting requirements.

After an extensive evaluation and RFP process, SmartCare was selected as the best application to meet the needs of OASAS’s 12 inpatient Addiction Treatment Center’s (ATC) across the state.

The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) oversees one of the nation’s largest addiction services systems with approximately 1,600 prevention, treatment and recovery programs. OASAS chemical dependence treatment programs have an average daily enrollment of nearly 100,000 people and serve approximately 234,000 individuals every year.

OASAS plans, develops and regulates the state’s system of chemical dependence and gambling treatment agencies. This includes the direct operation of 12 Addiction Treatment Centers, which serve around 8,000 persons per year.
