PRSA Colorado Announces 2019 Leadership Team

Professional development, networking and cultivating talent key areas of focus in the new year

DENVER--()--The Public Relations Society of America Colorado Chapter (PRSA Colorado) has announced its 2019 board of directors. New board members are volunteer professionals and were elected at the Oct. 17 annual meeting. The 2019 board will begin its term Jan. 1, 2019 under President Elizabeth Jumel, APR.

“2019 is going to be a great year for the PRSA Colorado chapter,” said Jumel. “We’ve been cultivating leadership at the board and committee levels, and with all these talented individuals working alongside one another, our chapter is ready to deliver valuable professional development and networking opportunities throughout the year.”

Elizabeth has been in PR for more than 20 years and joined PRSA Colorado in 2006. During this time, she has been a member or chair of several committees and was an assembly delegate on the board of directors from 2013-2016. She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2008, was named one of the Denver Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 in 2012 and received the PRSA Colorado Chapter Service Award in 2016. Jumel Public Relations earned a PRSA Colorado Chapter Gold Pick Award for media relations in 2017 and was named in the top four of ColoradoBiz Magazine’s 2016 Best of Colorado Business Choice Awards for “Best Public Relations Agency.”
