Fuze CEO Colin Doherty Recognized as Best CEO for Women by Comparably

Workplace productivity platform company honored with three culture awards from Comparably including Best CEO for Women, Best Company for Managers, and Best Company for Professional Development

BOSTON--()--Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications solution provider for the modern global enterprise, today announced it has been recognized with three Comparably 2018 Culture Awards, including the naming of CEO Colin Doherty as a top leader for female employees.

“At Fuze, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive workforce that provides unique and lasting opportunities for all employees,” said Doherty. “I’m humbled to receive this honor, especially knowing it comes directly from our female employees at Fuze. As the company continues to grow and expand its workforce globally, we are focused on implementing policies, benefits, and programs that hold universal appeal. These programs have the added benefit of being attractive to professional women in technology.”

One of these benefits is Fuze’s Work from Anywhere policy. Fuze’s culture and policies, as a core tenet, offer flexibility and choice. The company encourages employees to be open and communicate with their peers and managers on the schedule that works best for them, and drives productivity and success for their team overall.

Comparably, one of the fastest growing compensation, culture, and career monitoring sites in the U.S., compiled its ranking from sentiment ratings provided by employees who anonymously rated their employers on Comparably.com between May 23, 2017, and May 23, 2018. With a 95 rating among women, and a 90 rating overall, Doherty ranks among the top 5 percent of large Boston-based CEOs.

“2018 is the year in which women across the country stood up and spoke out against gender discrimination, pay inequality, and harassment in the workplace," said Jason Nazar, Comparably CEO. "Comparably's Best CEOs for Women awards recognize Fuze CEO, Colin Doherty as the best of the best ranked by Fuze's female employees. Colin and the Fuze leadership foster a culture that supports and encourages women, and we hope it will motivate other leaders to do the same."

Fuze recently launched the Fuze Women’s Network, an internal committee comprised of women and men to advocate for issues of importance to women, create opportunities for professional development, build mentorships across the company, and fuel networking opportunities for employees across the company.

In addition to Doherty’s Best CEO for Women recognition, Fuze also received awards for Best Company for Managers and Best Company for Professional Development. The company offers various training opportunities and bootcamps for sales, support, development, and more. All employees are encouraged to meet regularly with their managers. Fuze’s Quarterly Conversations program is cited by employees as being helpful in providing feedback and enhancing career development. These work culture recognitions also come on the heels of Fuze’s recent naming to Inc. Magazine’s 2018 Best Places to Work ranking last month.
