With 13 branches and over 14,000 accounts, First Bank and Trust deals with an average of 2,700 inclearing checks and 4,000 on-us items daily, and double that during peak times. Approximately a third of their clients are commercial, and as small businesses are more likely to be affected by check fraud compared to individuals, the bank wanted to have extra safeguards in place to replace an existing FraudGuard* system and help further protect their customers.
