SCORR Marketing and Applied Clinical Trials Release Survey Report on Recruiting and Retaining Clinical Research Employees

KEARNEY, Neb.--()--SCORR Marketing, a global health science marketing and communications firm, has announced that its new Talent Survey Report is available for free download. The survey, conducted in partnership with Applied Clinical Trials, offers valuable insight for the health sciences industry into the best strategies companies are using to attract and retain clinical research talent.

“While competitive benefit programs and paid time off are rated as the most effective employee retention efforts across all company sizes, the effectiveness of other employee retention efforts depend in part on the size of the company,” said Anne-Marie Hess, senior strategic advisor at SCORR. “Vesting (equity or 401k) is the second-most effective employee retention program for large and medium-sized companies. For small companies, higher salaries are rated second. However, we know from our Salary and Employee Satisfaction Survey Report that better pay is not an indicator of overall job satisfaction.”

“From the survey, we found that pharma and biopharma companies are more likely to use both financial and non-financial incentives to recruit employees,” said Todd Baker, group publisher at Applied Clinical Trials. “This could explain why most employees migrate to these types of companies when they change jobs within the health sciences industry.”

In addition, this report includes information on what tactics companies prioritize when hiring and recruiting, which positions are most difficult to replace, employee retention programs, evaluations of company talent acquisition efforts and areas of emphasis for workplace culture.

The Talent Survey Report is available for free download now at scorrmarketing.com.
