Source Photonics to Participate in Ethernet Alliance’s Interoperability Demonstration of the 400G QSFP-DD at OFC 2018

WEST HILLS, Calif.--()--Source Photonics will be participating in the Ethernet Alliance Interoperability Demonstration at OFC 2018 on March 13-15, at the San Diego Convention Center, showcasing the industry’s first interoperability of the 400G QSFP-DD LR8 transceivers.

The live demonstration at the Ethernet Alliance Booth (#2648) will consist of multiple 400G Ethernet link demonstrations showing interoperability of QSFP-DD 400GBASE-LR8 transceivers from Source Photonics and 400GBASE-LR8 transceivers from other vendors on Cisco’s and Juniper Networks’ equipment along with test equipment from Keysight and Spirent.

Source Photonics’ small form factor high speed 400G QSFP-DD supports the IEEE 400GBASE-LR8 optical standard and 400GAUI-8 electrical interface. The module operates from 0°C to 70°C and complies with the QSFP-DD type 2 MSA and allows connections of up to 10km.

Visit Source Photonics (#3921) and Ethernet Alliance (#2648) to see this innovative technology. Source Photonics product experts will be on site at each booth location if you’re interested in a more detailed technical discussion and to demonstrate how Source Photonics’ products can enable next-generation high-speed connectivity.
