CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation’s leading accounting and advisory firms, today announced an expansion of its public housing authority (PHA) practice through the acquisition of Casterline Associates, a Pennsylvania-based accounting and consulting firm focused on providing a variety of professional services to the affordable housing industry. Founded in 1995, Casterline provides accounting, financial consulting, strategic planning, information technology and other services to PHAs around the country. The newly combined practice will be positioned as the industry leader, having served more than 400 PHAs, including the 10 largest. This transaction with Casterline, which brings 9 staff to BDO, is effective immediately.
