Pilot Chemical Names Glynn Goertzen VP of Corporate Development

Veteran executive will lead growth and expansion

CINCINNATI--()--Pilot Chemical Company announced that Glynn Goertzen, president of Pilot Chemical subsidiary Liquid Minerals Group Ltd., also has been named vice president of corporate development for the parent company.

In this role, Goertzen and his team will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new strategic opportunities, partnerships and acquisitions that align with Pilot Chemical’s business operations and growth initiatives.

“Glynn has played an important role in integrating and operating acquired companies and product lines during 20 years with the company,” said Pam Butcher, Pilot Chemical’s president and CEO. “These acquisitions have been an integral part of Pilot Chemical’s growth, adding value to our customers and suppliers. Glynn’s new role will allow us to leverage his expertise along with the strong foundation the company has laid over decades, positioning Pilot for future growth and expansion.”

Goertzen first joined Pilot Chemical in 1998, then advanced through several positions, including vice president of commercial, where he managed the company’s sales, marketing, customer service, integrated supply chain, research and development and corporate accounts functions.

Goertzen will lead corporate development from both the Liquid Minerals Group headquarters in Huntsville, Texas, and Pilot’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Reporting to Goertzen will be Sarah Mester, who will remain in her role as director of corporate development.
