CRANBURY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CURE® magazine, is extending the nomination deadline for the 2018 Extraordinary Healer® Award to January 15, 2018. The award honors leading oncology nurses, who have made strides in the field of oncology or have demonstrated commendable compassion in patient care.

Nominations can be submitted by former patients, caregivers or peers in a form of 700 to 1,000-word essay on the nominees outstanding contributions to the field of oncology or in a patients’ life. The selection committee will select three nurse nominees, who will be honored at the reception held in conjunction to the Oncology Nursing Society’s 43rd Annual Congress. One nurse will be recognized as the 2018 Extraordinary Healer® Award for Oncology Nursing.
