The sale, which lasts from 4 pm (EST) November 9, wraps up on November 12 at 4 pm, also EST.

November 11 is a festival built around ‘1111' — four numeral ones. Named ‘Bachelor's Day," young people hold bachelor parties to have fun or form couples. Often young Chinese end their bachelor days by proposing marriage.
As of 2012, over 10,000 e-commerce sites rocked the buying festival as participants made plans to celebrate.

While multiple orders can be placed, just one DHCoupon per order is allowed, and it can be used on any onsite product.
Customers who spend over $1500 receive 20% off on specific products when combined with DHCoupons.
10,000 sellers are offering coupons to reflecting a discount between 23 and 25 percent. Combined with DHCoupons, there are 25 different types of store coupons, and the rules are shown on DHGate's website. Eighty-percent of the 5 million coupons available may be used during the sale and warm-up period while 20% is reserved for the main event.
Besides the liberal distribution of cost-cutting coupons, selected products will feature exclusive prices in tiered shopping in an 11/11 style such as $1.11, $11.11 and $111.11.
Every three hours different products will be featured at 50-90% off regular price. Buyers will be notified by email and items will be sold on a ‘first come, first served' basis.
