Para Los Niños and the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department (EWDD) will lead the ceremonious grand opening of its new YouthSource Center in Westlake-MacArthur Park on October 25, 2017. The center will provide services for approximately 1,100 youth in the central city neighborhood including high school credit recovery, HiSET/GED prep, paid internships, vocational certification and career readiness. This is the second EWDD-Para Los Niños YouthSource Center after their first youth hub serving Lincoln Heights and the Northeast LA area. Famed local LA artist, David Flores, to unveil an original mural dedicated to the youth center.

Para Los Niños serves over 6,000 impoverished children and family members annually through its six preschools, three charter schools and array of mental health and social services. Para Los Niños’ geographic focus is in Downtown/Skid Row and Westlake/Pico Union.
