Extended Stay America Unveils Newly Redesigned Hotel in East Providence, RI

Completely Renovated Property Offers Guests a Transformed Extended Stay Experience

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I.--()--Extended Stay America, Inc. (NYSE:STAY) today unveiled a redesigned hotel in East Providence, Rhode Island. Located at 1000 Warren Ave., the newly renovated property reimagined every aspect and integrated elements of design, comfort and convenience to provide an improved guest experience at an outstanding value.

New features include fresh contemporary interior designs and a lobby concept with an open, inviting social space for guests. The bright, spacious rooms have been completely updated with new kitchens, bathrooms, furniture and special features such as Sleep and Stow℠ beds that merge the comfort of Serta® with elevated platform frames for convenient storage of luggage and larger personal items.

Offering guests the ability to create home-cooked meals away from home, the Extended Stay America East Providence rooms are outfitted with fully equipped contemporary kitchens with quartz counter tops, loft style cabinets, full size refrigerators and cooktops, as well as ConverTables℠ tables which conveniently convert from work space to dining area.

The rooms all have extra personal device charging capability conveniently located within three feet of all sitting and sleeping areas, enhanced free Wi-Fi speeds and larger 49-inch high-definition televisions with premium cable, HBO and casting capability to enhance the stay further.

Additional amenities at the East Providence property include pet-friendly rooms, free grab-and-go breakfast and an on-premise laundry facility.

The redesign of the East Providence property draws on inspiration from guests and Extended Stay America’s more than two decades of expertise in the extended stay category to offer some of the best new design features in the industry at an affordable price,” said Jim Alderman, Executive Vice President and Chief Asset Merchant, Extended Stay America. “Given the location and major corporations headquartered nearby, we’re excited to offer a significantly improved extended stay to both consumers and business travelers alike as part of the hotel makeover.”

The East Providence hotel redesign is an initial step toward ESA 2.0, Extended Stay America’s strategic five-year growth plan to build a better future. Keeping the evolving extended stay traveler in mind and staying uniquely focused on the mid-priced segment, those plans will expand and improve the brand’s more than 620 properties nationwide with renovations, new hotel development and franchising. The East Providence location marks the first hotel materially redesigned and incorporates some of the features from ESA 2.0 for an initial look at the renovation strategy. New portfolio-wide enhancements will implement smart storage solutions, make guest rooms a more comfortable and home-like experience and reimagine common areas to provide all of guests’ go-to amenities in one open space.
