Governor Inslee, Secretary General Jan Egeland to Address NetHope Global Summit in Vancouver, Canada

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--()--From October 23-27, over 300 representatives from global nonprofits, leading technology companies, and funding organizations will converge at the Pan Pacific for the NetHope Global Summit 2017. They are united by a common goal: to apply the power and promise of technology to the problems and potential of humanity.

While the Summit is primarily for attendees, we invite media to attend keynote addresses by NetHope CEO Lauren Woodman, Washington State Governor Jay Inslee, and Norwegian Refugee Council Secretary General Jan Egeland. Details follow:

Tuesday, October 24

10:30-11:30 a.m.
Keynote: NetHope CEO Lauren Woodman will present “Doing Good Better,” and formally launch The Center for the Digital Nonprofit with Founding Partners Microsoft and Okta, represented by Justin Spelhaug, General Manager, Microsoft Tech for Social Impact; and Erin Baudo Felter, Executive Director, Okta for Good. Keynote: Washington State Governor Jay Inslee will address “The Role of Government in Fostering Innovation for Good,” followed by a brief audience Q&A with NetHope CEO Lauren Woodman. Keynote: Secretary General Jan Egeland, Norwegian Refugee Council shares his lifetime experience in the humanitarian sector in his address: “65 Million Displaced: In the Future We Must Find Better Ways to Help.”
