Clearwater Compliance Earns Endorsement for Cyber Risk Management Services

Healthcare Cybersecurity Leader Now Offers Services to Arkansas Hospital Association Member Hospitals

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--()--Clearwater Compliance, a leading provider of hospital and health system cyber risk management and compliance solutions, today announced it has been endorsed as the recommended cyber risk management provider for the 101 member organizations of the Arkansas Hospital Association. Under an exclusive, multiyear endorsement agreement, Clearwater was awarded preferred provider status by AHA Services, Inc. (AHASI), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Arkansas Hospital Association (AHA) designed to help hospitals reduce costs and increase buying power through negotiated group discounts.

Clearwater works with hospitals and health systems of all sizes, including over 40 of the top Integrated Delivery Networks in the country. Clearwater’s solutions are already exclusively endorsed by the American Hospital Association.

“We are pleased to announce this new partnership with Clearwater Compliance,” says Tina Creel, AHASI President. “We want to help our hospital member organizations adopt both short- and long-term strategic approaches for increasing safeguards on patient data. We also highly encourage developing sustainable information risk management programs critical to the delivery of value-based care.”

With data everywhere more vulnerable than ever, Clearwater has shown leadership in helping hospitals establish, implement and mature formal risk management processes that address evolving, complex and sophisticated cyber threats.

“Arkansas is a terrific example of being at the forefront of cyber risk management,” said Bob Chaput, CEO of Clearwater Compliance. “In today’s fast-changing and fast-moving world of cybersecurity threats, Clearwater is honored to offer approaches for framing cybersecurity programs to AHA member hospitals. Many hospitals struggle with developing their cyber risk management programs, simply because they do not know where to start. We will help interested member hospitals leverage best practices and industry standards for achieving their cyber risk management and compliance risk management objectives.”

Clearwater has additional endorsements by state associations that add more than 200 hospitals in Georgia and Montana. Clearwater is a member of the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s (NIST) National Cybersecurity Excellence Partnership (NCEP) at NIST’s National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE).
