QUINCY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ThriveHive, a leading national provider of digital marketing for local businesses, today announced that it will become a major sponsor of the Shriners Hospital for Children Open in Las Vegas, held the week of October 30.
Celebrating its 35th consecutive year, Shriners Hospital for Children Open aims to bring awareness to the work of the Shriners Hospital for Children. This year, 23 patients will serve as standard bearers during the final two rounds of the tournament, representing 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children locations throughout North America. The tournament expects to host 144 players during the PGA TOUR and Pro-Am event.
“We are thrilled about forging a partnership with ThriveHive,” said Patrick Lindsey, Tournament Director. “ThriveHive’s support will ensure that we are one of the most anticipated events in Las Vegas, and will be invaluable in bringing awareness to Shriners Hospital for Children.”
The annual tournament will kick off on Monday, October 30 with a digital marketing seminar hosted by ThriveHive, a Google Premier Partner, and presented by Google’s Ben Tyson. Tyson will review high level trends and digital marketing strategies to grow a small business, including search engine marketing, YouTube, and Google My Business.
Ben Tyson joined Google as Head of Sales Enablement in 2013, where he designed, delivered and evaluated the success of over 300 trainings to over 150,000 sales reps, 10,000 account managers, and 50,000 sales managers across 150 different partners. One year ago, he transitioned his role to Global Lead of Live Training Strategy. Prior to Google, Tyson served as Director of Training at Hearst Digital Marketing Services.
“The Shriners Hospital for Children Open is about much more than golf, it’s about bringing awareness to the great work Shriners Hospital does with their innovative pediatric specialty care,” said Peter Cannone, CEO, ThriveHive. “We are honored to support that cause by sponsoring this great event on the PGA TOUR.”
