BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--iovation, a cybersecurity and fraud protection company achieved a 214 percent Return on Investment (ROI) with its deployment of Snowflake Computing cloud data warehousing. Snowflake’s solution reduced hardware and software costs, provided database management savings and increased data science productivity with reduced data preparation.
Processing up to 25 million customer transactions per day through its software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering, iovation generates a real-time flow of fraud evaluations to more than 1,500 major brands, reducing risk for online transactions. The company had sought a robust database resources capable of handling routine analytics queries. Beginning with an informal evaluation of Snowflake tools, iovation noted during early demonstration stages that this product was powerful and accurate, solving existing issues with scaling and staging queries.

Nucleus Research has quantified the initial and ongoing costs of software subscription fees, personnel time to implement and support for the application, and employee training time over a 3-year period to calculate iovation’s total investment in Snowflake.
