Edeniq President & CEO Joins BIO IES Governing Board

Edeniq President & CEO Brian Thome has joined the Biotechnology Innovation Organization Industrial and Environmental Section’s Governing Board, taking on increased industry leadership role

WASHINGTON--()--On September 6, 2017, Edeniq, Inc.’s (“Edeniq”) President and CEO, Brian Thome, was elected to the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (“BIO”) Industrial and Environmental Section’s (“IES’”) Governing Board. In this role, Mr. Thome joins other industry leaders to help set the organization’s policy and other priorities that will help facilitate the growth of the biofuel and renewable chemical industries.

Thome states, “I am thrilled to join BIO’s IES Governing Board. BIO is a leading trade association that plays an essential role in advancing policies that help facilitate the investment, development and use of biofuels and renewable chemicals in the United States. I look forward to playing a leadership role in these efforts that are so important to the industry, and to helping to grow U.S. energy independence and security on the whole. Especially at this time of increasing advanced and cellulosic biofuel commercialization, it is crucial that the industry work together in a unified way to ensure continued growth of the entire value chain of biofuels and renewable chemicals.”
