New Study Reveals Enterprise IT Leaders Overwhelmed with Complexity of Decisions for Meeting Evolving Customer Expectations

Live Webinar to Highlight Forrester Study Results and Recommendations for Accelerating Digital Transformation

CHICAGO--()--InRule Technology®, provider of the industry-leading decision platform, announced plans to reveal results of a survey exploring the role of enterprise software in informing and automating business decisions to meet customer expectations.

The study, entitled Step Into The New Era Of Digital Decisioning Platforms, was conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of InRule. The research uncovered that enterprise IT leaders feel overwhelmed when it comes to keeping pace with the use of existing and emerging decisioning technologies, such as statistical analysis tools, business rules, machine learning and real-time event processing, to meet evolving customer demands and expectations.

Forrester’s research indicates that we are on the cusp of a new era of decisioning technologies. These technology innovations are being driven by customers’ demand for firms to understand them in the moment and address them in context. Forrester’s findings emphasize that in order to meet customers’ growing and evolving demands, firms must automate more of their decisions, even as the complexity of decisions grows.

Forrester’s report reveals that only one third of organizations surveyed are using Machine Learning and Deep Learning for operational decision making. The study uncovered that most organizations need help understanding their technology options with regard to decisioning applications.

More details of the research findings will be revealed during a live webinar featuring guest presenter and Forrester Vice President and Principal Analyst John Rymer. In addition, Rymer will share his recommendations for how enterprises can accelerate their transformation into digital businesses to meet evolving customer expectations.

“As enterprises strive to keep up with customer demands, it can be overwhelming to figure out which technologies are best and will deliver the greatest ROI,” said Rik Chomko, co-founder and CEO, InRule Technology. “Enterprises that are able to automate decisions more completely from end to end will be able to win, serve and retain customers more quickly while increasing staff efficiencies and decreasing costs.”
