Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ To Donate all Registration Proceeds to Hurricane Harvey Relief

All registration proceeds for the Directions in Pharmacy® meeting in Dallas, Texas will be donated to the American Red Cross

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, Pharmacy Times Continuing Education™ (PTCE™), a leader in continuing education for retail, health-system, managed care and specialty pharmacists, will donate all registration proceeds for the Directions in Pharmacy® September 9th meeting in Dallas, Texas to the American Red Cross to support those affected by the hurricane.

“In response to this disaster, we are taking the initiative to help people quickly recover from this disaster. We hope to encourage others to step up and donate to the American Red Cross and other organizations. This unprecedented storm has forever changed the lives of people in Texas and Louisiana. Since its arrival on August 24th, the storm has caused catastrophic damage, displaced many, and has caused a continuous rise in the number of fatalities. PTCE™ is committed to helping this community back on its feet.

The Directions in Pharmacy® Fall 2017, will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel in Dallas, Texas. This one-day event is designed to bring together pharmacists to discuss the best practices in patient care. This year’s event will address diseases including diabetes, heart failure, and influenza.
