Physicians’ Education Resource® Presents the 18th Annual International Lung Cancer Congress

The program will discuss the latest clinical data and its impact in lung cancer management

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--Physicians’ Education Resource (PER®) will host the 18th Annual International Lung Cancer Congress (ILCC) from July 27 to 29 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach in Huntington Beach, California. The co-chairs for this congress are, David R. Gandara, M.D., division of Hematology/Oncology, director Thoracic Oncology Program, senior adviser to the director at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Roy S. Herbst, M.D., Ph.D., professor of pharmacology, chief of medical oncology, associate director for translational research, Yale Cancer Center and Yale School of Medicine.

In making the announcement, Phil Talamo, president of PER®, said, “We are thrilled for the upcoming International Lung Cancer Congress, now in its 18th year. This two-day educational event will discuss the emerging information on management of lung cancer. Additionally, the program will encompass some of the most significant topics in cancer including the changing role of biomarkers, immunotherapeutic combination strategies, management of central nervous system metastases and the role of chemotherapies and anti-angiogenic strategies. The attendees will receive an opportunity to share their personal experiences and challenges with their peers and faculty.
