BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyruus, a leader in provider search and scheduling solutions for health systems, today announced that Baylor Scott & White Health, the largest not-for-profit health system in Texas, has selected the company’s solutions to streamline provider data management and improve patient access. The 48-hospital health system will leverage the KyruusOne provider data management platform to build a single, up-to-date provider directory and the ProviderMatch APIs to enhance the online experiences it offers to consumers.
The KyruusOne platform will enable the health system to leverage a single point of access to their provider data by integrating and reconciling data from multiple sources on an ongoing basis. The system’s providers will be able to use Kyruus’ online application, ProfileManager, to detail their clinical scopes of practice using the proprietary 14,000-term Kyruus Clinical Library.
Baylor Scott & White Health also chose Kyruus for its unique APIs that allow health systems to access data from KyruusOne to power rich, differentiated online consumer experiences. The ProviderMatch APIs will enable the health system to offer condition- and symptom- based provider searches throughout its website, making it faster and easier for patients to find the right providers for their specific clinical needs.
“Kyruus stood out as a good option for us because they understand how critical it is to engage providers in the management of their profiles and they make it easy to do so,” said Tom Bowen Wright, VP of Digital Innovation at Baylor Scott & White Health. “In addition, their APIs give us the flexibility to leverage the rich data in KyruusOne to enhance our online and mobile offerings, so we can create an exceptional experience for our community.”
“Improving patient access starts with capturing complete and accurate information about the providers within a health system,” said Graham Gardner, CEO of Kyruus. “We’re honored to be working with the Baylor Scott & White Health team to help them simplify provider data management, engage providers effectively in the process, and modernize the patient experience.”
