OMAHA, Neb.--()--The patriotic passion of an Omaha couple with four sons in the United States Armed Forces has sparked the creation of a national memorial to honor the nearly 7,000* men and women that have died from wounds suffered in the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan while wearing a USA military uniform. The “Remembering Our FallenTM traveling memorial is scheduled to be unveiled at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, September 7, 2017. To be comprised of 30 to 40 Tribute Towers when completed, the heartfelt memorial will then move to the Pentagon for the week of September 11. Patriotic Productions, creator of the war memorial, is enlisting America’s help to ensure this meaningful tribute is comprehensive in recognizing every U.S. service member who has died serving our nation beyond our borders since September 11, 2001.

Bill and Evonne Williams of Omaha founded award-winning Patriotic Productions to support their desire to honor the U.S. military and to share that opportunity with others who wish to do the same. Initially focused on those Fallen that called Nebraska home, the emotional traveling memorial has expanded to 19 states since launching in 2010, with a national memorial now the focus. The Williams are working closely with Gold Star families, those families that have lost an immediate family member serving in the United States Armed Forces, to collect vital content, including photos, for the Tribute Towers.

“Before they were service members, the Fallen had personal lives and families not unlike you and me. We can never forget those who sacrificed everything for our freedom,” said Bill Williams, vice president and co-founder of Patriotic Productions. “We want to make sure the significant sacrifice of these brave individuals is recognized and not forgotten, but we need America’s help to achieve a monumental tribute that is far reaching.”

Request for Information About Our Nation’s Heroes

According to Williams, information has been received to complete about 65 percent of the proposed Tribute Towers, which will feature Fallen service members’ names along with military and personal images.

Williams suggests that if you know a Gold Star family, share this opportunity to include their loved one on the “Remembering Our Fallen” memorial. There is no fee for the families. They can visit www.RememberingOurFallen.org to submit basic information and two photos of their Fallen loved ones for inclusion on the Tribute Towers. Questions can be emailed to info@RememberingOurFallen.org.

Tribute Towers to Travel

According to Evonne Williams, co-founder of Patriotic Productions, the memorial is a “Gift to the Nation” and is being developed to travel in a manner similar to the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial replica.

“The ‘Remembering Our Fallen’ memorial is being created to travel, stopping in cities and communities all across the nation so more people will have the opportunity to honor and remember our Fallen from the longest war in our nation’s history,” Williams said.

Standing 10 feet high, each of the “Remembering Our Fallen” Tribute Towers will honor 168 service members on three double-sided, full-color banners. Crafted of high-quality, weather-resistant materials, the Tribute Towers will travel to communities as one large memorial spanning 80 feet by 50 feet or as multiple exhibits to fit various-sized venues across the nation. The beautiful memorial can be displayed indoors or outdoors and will include music and voices of Gold Star family members. A directory of service members will accompany the memorial, allowing family and friends to easily locate a loved one among the Tribute Towers.

Exhibit bookings are now being accepted for the “Remembering Our Fallen” Tribute Towers. If interested in sponsoring and/or hosting the memorial, please contact Bill Williams at info@PatrioticProductions.org or at 402-612-0210. The tour schedule is available at www.RememberingOurFallen.org.
