HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MicroPact, Inc. and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® today announced that they will be jointly developing a consolidated case management system for NCMEC. Built on entellitrak, MicroPact’s low-code application development platform for case management and business process management, the system will modernize and extend NCMEC’s abilities to find missing children, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimization.
“As the national clearinghouse and resource center for information about missing and exploited children, every call or report we receive could be the difference between life and death for a child,” said Mark Gianturco, CTO and VP of Technology, NCMEC. “These children and their families are relying on us and we need technology we can trust. A consolidated case management system to track, analyze, and share information, is critical to our work to put the right information in the right hands and lead to a recovery.”
“We are honored to have been chosen to support the work and mission of NCMEC,” said Kris Collo, CEO of MicroPact. “entellitrak is used by some of the world’s largest, most advanced investigative and law enforcement agencies. It’s exciting that it will now be put to use by a nonprofit fighting to protect children and support their families.”
entellitrak manages all aspects of a case in one application, avoiding the need to maintain a network of systems for record management. It keeps records accurate, secure, and accessible to authorized users. In 2016 two of four contractors that were awarded contracts to conduct background investigations and security clearances for the federal Office of Personnel Management (OPM) chose entellitrak. OPM conducts roughly 95% of federal background investigations for federal agencies — hundreds of thousands a year — to ascertain whether an applicant is suitable for federal employment or should be awarded a security clearance.
entellitrak is a low-code application development platform for case management and business process management. Whether based on-premises or in the cloud, its Data-First™ approach allows it to be implemented immediately and configured continuously, enabling customers to get to work quickly while keeping costs low.
For nearly four decades, MicroPact has focused on engineering commercial off the shelf (COTS) solutions for US Government agencies and Fortune 500 corporations. Today MicroPact solutions serve 98% of U.S. states, 97% of federal agencies with 500 or more employees, and enjoy a 97% annual renewal rate.
