This year’s conference will kick off with a keynote address from Dr. Shayla West-Barnette, Supervisory Consumer Safety Officer for the FDA who will speak on GRAS Final Rule, specifically on what has changed under the GRAD final rule, focusing on the value that these changes offer to stakeholders, as well as share the FDA’s experience evaluating GRAS notices since finalizing the rule.
Additionally, this year’s Food Contact and Additives conference will focus on:
- Updates on Regulations
- Food Supply Chain and Data Management
- Consumer Trends in Food Contact & Additives
Over the course of the two day conference, the agenda will split into two tracks: Food Contact and Food Additives. These tracks will highlight more specific industry issues and regulatory concerns.
“We are excited to bring the Food Contact & Additives conference back to the US in 2017. The agenda will discuss some hot topics in the food contact and food additives industries and highlight some of the regulation changes, as this is an industry that is constantly changing,” said Lucia Regan, Conference Producer. “I believe this year’s program will bring a lot of important issues up for discussion and really highlight where the two industries can collaborate and find solutions to current challenges.”
