DETROIT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The CFA Society of Detroit, an association of local investment professionals consisting of portfolio managers, security analysts, investment advisors, and other financial professionals, today proudly announced the appointment of Daniel Seder, CFA® as President of our society, effective immediately. The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) credential is the most respected and recognized investment management designation in the world. The CFA Program provides a strong foundation of advanced investment analysis and real-world portfolio management skills that gives holders a career advantage.
Mr. Seder aims to enhance the value that CFA Detroit delivers to its membership of over four hundred. “The future is bright for our Society. We are excited to build upon our strategic growth initiatives from years past,” said Mr. Seder.
The CFA Society of Detroit has refocused its efforts on attracting world-class speakers. With record attendance, last year’s Forecast Luncheon showcased Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary. This year’s signature event will feature CNBC Contributor Josh Brown (also known as “The Reformed Broker”) and Comerica’s Chief Economist, Dr. Robert Dye.
