MEXICO CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UNIFIN Financiera, S.A.B. de C.V. SOFOM, E.N.R. (BMV:UNIFIN) (“UNIFIN” or the “Company”), announces that the Company will redeem on June 29, 2017 the full outstanding principal amount of its 6.250% Senior Notes due 2019 (the “2019 Notes”).
The 2019 Notes will be redeemed at a price equal to 100% of the outstanding principal amount of the 2019 Notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest thereon, plus the applicable make-whole amount, which will be determined on the third business day preceding the redemption date.
The aggregate principal amount of Notes to be redeemed by Unifin on June 29, 2017 is U.S. $50,629,000. The redemption price will be paid by Unifin from the proceeds of the offering of its U.S. $450,000,000 7.000% Senior Notes due 2025 issued on May 15, 2017.
This prepayment is within the Company’s strategy to maintain a prudent management of its indebtedness.
