SweeTARTS Highlights Interactive Art & Technology at VidCon, Celebrating Fan Passions through VR Gaming Room and Mosaic Trend Wall

Brand Joins Forces with Innovative Creators iHasCupquake and OMGitsfirefoxx to Co-Create with its Biggest Fans

ANAHEIM, Calif.--()--VIDCON: SweeTARTS, the candy-obsessed brand that believes in making the world anything but bland, is encouraging fans to embrace and follow their passions with its return to VidCon. The brand is joining forces with innovative gaming creators iHasCupquake and OMGitsfirefoxx to co-create content with fans onsite and live out their passions through a variety of activations, including a one-of-a-kind VR gaming experience and mosaic art installation.

The brand will be co-creating with fans, celebrating passions and encouraging fans attending to live out loud via fun, unique onsite activations at the SweeTARTS VidCon booth #1201.

CHEWY SOURS TART TOSS VR GAME

SweeTARTS will add its own tart twist on the passion of gaming with the Chewy Sours Tart Toss, a truly unique and engaging two-player virtual reality gaming experience. Players will enter an alternate candy universe, and be transformed into giant SweeTARTS Chewy Sours bags to either collaborate or compete with their in-game counterpart to gather as many Chewy Sours as they can in 60 seconds. Select fans will have the opportunity to play alongside our creator partners – two of the most influential and passionate female online gamers around – Tiffany Garcia, better known to fans as iHasCupquake, a fun and playful gaming expert who provides commentary on top newly released games, and Sonja Reid, also known as OMGitsfirefoxx, a superstar gamer on live-streaming gaming platform Twitch. Game on!

MOSAIC TREND WALL

Additionally, throughout the show, SweeTARTS will ask fans stopping by the booth to share their biggest passions and to snap a photo to be used as part of a SweeTARTS art mosaic installation. Each photo taken may be uploaded to be used as a part of the mosaic to reveal SweeTARTS' newest candy creation on Friday, June 23, at 2:32 PM PT!

This new creation, shipping December 2017, will be an addition to SweeTARTS' existing portfolio of new and innovative product offerings across Chewy, Gummy and Ropes candy formats, featuring no artificial flavors, currently available at retailers nationwide.
